Specac Manual Hydraulic Press 15 and 25 Ton
Specac’s Atlas Series Manual Hydraulic Press is available in 15 and 25 ton load configurations, and is intended for a wide range of laboratory press applications.
The press has a compact, small footprint design making it ideal for bench-top and glove box laboratory applications. With a rigid steel construction, and protective safety shield as standard, this laboratory hydraulic press is particularly well-suited for FTIR KBr pellet press, XRF pellet press, and thin film press applications when used in conjunction with Specac Evacuable Pellet Die assemblies or Heated Platens and associated Thin Film making kits.
The easy-to-read dual scale gauge is calibrated in both UK imperial tons and metric tons, and an adjustable pressure control value allows reproducible load for repetitive applications. A range of conversion gauges (0-1, 0-2 and 0-5 Tons) are available for low pressure hydraulic press applications.

Specac’s Atlas™ Series Power Hydraulic Press is available in 8 Ton, 15 Ton and 25 Ton load configurations. These bench-top presses have power-assisted hydraulics for ease-of-use and, with a small footprint, ergonomic design, and low noise characteristics, they are appropriate for a range of applications in both modern laboratories and heavy industrial environments.

Sietronics Press and Die Sets
Sietronics brand manual 12 ton or 20 ton presses for preparation of Boric acid backed pellets with aluminium cups & steel rings. The press can be supplied with a hand pump (as shown) or air operated pump (compressed air required) and although the press is manually operated, 20 or more pressed pellets can be prepared by a single operator per hour. All wear surfaces are hardened and ground and an automatic 30 ton press is also available.
Standard die sets are 32mm and 40mm in diameter but other diameters can be supplied on request if required.
